*Researchers both in the US and the UK have been having much success with Alpharadin injections to treat secondary pancreatic tumors. This type of cancer cause large amounts of pain to those afflicted with this condition.

*The dual gene mutations called BRAF and EGFR are currently being targeted for the prevention and cure of lung cancer. BRAF has been effectively treated by RG7204, while EGFR shows response to the already-approved Tarceva treatment. More trial research is continuing in this area. Based upon knowing which person has which of the gene mutations playing the dynamic role in causing lung cancer, doctors would be able to recommend the more highly targeted therapy.

*70% of cervical cancer cases are brought on by HPV viral forms. For about a period of a year since the time of this article being written, shots against HPV have underwent trial studies with teenage females. The hope is that these shots will have some positive outcome against developing cervical cancer which is very vicious. To see if the shots work much testing will be done over the next twenty years.
